The Use of these Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply when you (the Buyer or Consumer) place an order on our ecommerce website or over the telephone or any other approved means.

Together with the Order Confirmation or Acknowledgment Document that you will receive once an order is accepted, this document describes the terms and conditions under which we supply any goods or services to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully in advance of placing an order, to ensure that you understand and accept them.

By ordering on-line or by any other approved means, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions provided. Do not place any order with us if these terms and conditions are unacceptable to you.

Your act of placing an order for goods and services with us, constitutes an offer to us to buy goods and services. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, which we may accept or decline at our absolute discretion. Our acceptance of your order occurs when we provide a confirmation or acknowledgment of order, generally via email.

When purchasing goods or services on our ecommerce site, the items you wish to purchase are placed in a virtual “shopping cart” which you can view at any time and make changes as you wish. Once you are happy with the items in your shopping cart you are able to proceed by entering your personal details, selecting the method of payment and shipping requirements.

Should you place an order by phone then our advisor will discuss the goods you wish to purchase together with payment and shipping details. The advisor will then take your payment details, place your order and provide confirmation of acceptance.

We will allocate an order number to all accepted orders and provide that to you with your Order Confirmation; and we would request you quote this number in all future communications with us in relation to your order.

Product and Information

All photographs, drawings, sizes, product descriptions and illustrations used in any advertising, brochures or website are produced purely to provide you with an approximation of the goods they describe and as a representation of the finished product. Any such images will be affected by the media on which they are displayed and may not be totally accurate to the final finished product. Shed colour can also be affected by lighting and weather conditions.

All product is manufactured within standard measurement tolerances of between 1 and 2mm, exact size dimensions cannot be guaranteed due to the natural variation of the material dependant upon surroundings and climate.

Your unique order will be supplied in accordance with the instructions and specification detailed in our Order Confirmation to you. On occasion we may supply goods with differences in specification due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Any such differences will result in goods being of an equal or improved standard and will not affect your lawful rights.

Pricing and Payment

The prices shown on our website or as quoted to you are in £ Sterling and inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable; and these are the final prices.

Payment is accepted using most UK credit or debit cards. We will validate your name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made.

Issues with Product

We are under a legal duty to supply product that conforms with the contract and being fit for purpose. Nothing in these terms will affect your legal rights.

Under the terms of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are entitled to the following :

  • Up to 30 days if your goods are faulty you can get an immediate refund.
  • Up to six months if your goods cannot be repaired or replaced then you are entitled to a full refund subject to these terms and conditions.

Should you wish to exercise your legal rights to reject products you must either return them to us or allow us to collect from you.

On receipt of goods we ask you to inspect and notify us if they are damaged or do not comply with your order. Issues with your goods must be reported within 30 days of receipt. Where a claim of damage or defect is made, if goods are in the condition as received, we will supply/replace/repair any necessary parts to complete your initial purchase.

It should be noted that as a natural product, timber is prone to changes in appearance including some movement and the occurrence of small knot holes or splits in extreme weather conditions. Any splits, knots or other similar visual imperfections in the timber will not affect the structural integrity of the product and are not considered to be damage and do not render the goods as unfit for purpose. We make every effort to select timber without visible knotholes or splits but there may be times when timber is selected in good faith that contains what appears to be a solid knot. Over the course of time and movement, these small knot holes could be dislodged from the timber, we cannot be held responsible for such maturing of the product.

Airflow is important both for the longevity of the product and overall comfort, especially in colder months to prevent mildew which can cause the timber to slowly rot and degrade other internal items. This is especially relevant if the product is used to store wet items such as soggy boots, tools or bicycle. We advise adding external ventilation or keeping door and windows open where possible.

Your product should also be treated internally and externally at least annually with a high quality wood preserver. Windows should be sealed externally using silicone or other watertight solution to avoid water ingress.
