The external height is approx. 97’’ at the front of the building. Fitted with a damp-proof rubber membrane that sits between the 3” tantalised runners and the floor.

The 12×10 Heavyweight Shed comes treated in light brown wood preservative as standard. At a later date, you can personalise your building to your own taste by using a range of different preservatives, timber stain options, oils or paint finishes.

The super heavyweight range features a substantial 4" x 2" PAR (Planed All Round) framework, which provides a solid and stable foundation for the building. In addition to the sturdy framework, the super heavyweight range is clad with 19mm tongue and groove cladding. Does this garden building come with double glazing?

Yes, this garden building comes equipped with double glazing featuring toughened glass. The double glazing provides some insulation, helping to maintain a comfortable temperature. What flooring is on the super timber shed range?

The floor of this structure is designed with durability and longevity in mind, consisting of high-quality 18mm plywood. This thick plywood provides a solid and stable surface, ensuring that the floor can withstand heavy use and various loads, making it ideal for different applications such as storage, workshops, or recreational spaces.

To further enhance the floor's durability and resistance to environmental elements, it is supported by tantalised treated floor runners. These runners are treated with a special preservative process known as tantalisation. This treatment penetrates deep into the wood, protecting it from rot, fungal decay, and insect infestation.

Additionally, a damp course is installed between the ply flooring and the floor runners. This damp course acts as a barrier to prevent moisture from rising from the ground into the plywood, which could otherwise lead to swelling, warping, or rot.

What is an EPDM rubber roof?

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber roofing is a durable, flexible, and weather-resistant material. It remains flexible in extreme temperatures and is resistant to UV radiation, ozone, and weathering. A major benefit of an EPDM roof is that it offers excellent water resistance.

We manufacture products designed for competent DIY assembly by two or more adults. All of our products come with free delivery. We even offer the option for installation by us. Please note that we only are able to offer delivery within a 80 mile radius from our Wickford workshop.
